Today was Jakes first serious snowfall in our family. I decided to try to build my first snowman of the year, and Jake decided that he was going to make it as hard as possible for me to make it. I was rolling out the very bottom, and everything was going fine, or as fine as something can be with a dog attached to you. Then Jake came over and started to attack the snow ball! He was snarling, and kept biting, and making the ball smaller and smaller. Finally Jake went back to play by himself on the other side of the lawn. When I was finished with the middle ball, and was moving on to the head, I noticed the Jake was laying in the snow. I looked over, and there he was, rolling in the snow like a new born puppy. I started laughing, and realized that this was going to be a very fun winter:)
Later in the week, my dad was out shoveling our driveway, and I looked down, and there was Jake with his head pressed to the ground, pushing the snow to the side. I have never seen a dog plow the snow with his forehead before! It was quit a sight. Then later that day, I was sledding behind my house, and I put Jake on the sled. We went down together for about half of the hill, then he tilted to the side and over we went! Tell me your funny winter dog stories in the comments below. Cats too!!
